The ruling on collective dhikr between every two rak'ahs in the night prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In our village, the people have the custom in the night prayer during Ramadan of reciting Surat al-Ikhlas three times in alternation with Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar, and La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah al-Azim, once collectively, and this is done between every two rak'ahs with a very loud voice, which removes serenity and composure. Is there anything of the pure Sunnah in this practice?
Answer:
This practice is a religious innovation (bid'ah) and an abomination that is not permissible to do, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih Muslim 1718a It is agreed upon as authentic. And his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 1718b It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih. And his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Friday sermon: Sahih Muslim 867a It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih. This practice is a religious innovation (bid'ah) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) did not do, so it is obligatory to abandon it and repent to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) for what has passed of it, based on the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic): [al-Nur: 31], and His saying (Glorified and Exalted is He): [Ta-Ha: 82]. May Allah guide everyone to what pleases Him.

Answer:
This practice is a religious innovation (bid'ah) and an abomination that is not permissible to do, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected.
He who did any act for which there is no sanction from our behalf, that is to be rejected.
The best of the speech is embodied in the Book of Allah, and the best of the guidance is the guidance given by Muhammad. And the most evil affairs are their innovations; and every innovation is error.
And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.
