The Ruling on a Woman Praying While Menstruating

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on a woman who goes to the Haram to pray in it during her monthly period, knowing that she is menstruating?

Answer:
As for a woman going to the Noble Haram and praying with the people while her monthly period, which is menstruation, has come upon her, and she knows this, this is a great abomination for two reasons:
The first is that she has no prayer, and it is not obligatory for her to engage in prayer while in this state of ritual impurity, so that is a great abomination, and her prayer is invalid.
The second matter is that she is not permitted to enter the Sacred Mosque and sit in it while menstruating, for the menstruating woman and the one in a state of major ritual impurity are prohibited from sitting in the mosque. As for passing through and crossing, there is no harm for the sake of need. As for sitting in the mosque, neither the menstruating woman nor the one in a state of major ritual impurity may sit in the mosque. Praying while menstruating is even greater and more heinous, so this action is not permissible for her. Rather, it is obligatory for her to remain in her house, and she is not permitted to go to the mosque until this menstruation ends. Once she has purified herself from it, she may go to the mosque with her sisters if she wishes.
As for going while in a state of menstruation to participate in the prayer or to sit with the women in the mosque, all of this is an abomination and is not permissible. Prayer while menstruating, and while in other states of major and minor ritual impurity, is invalid due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Salat will not be accepted without purification, nor Charity from Ghulul.لا تقبل صلاة بغير طهور، ولا صدقة من غلول
