All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) transmitted in the context of the hadiths in the Book of Clothing: "From 'Amr ibn Harith (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: 'It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wearing a black turban, with its two ends hanging down between his shoulders.' Narrated by Muslim. In another narration from him: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to the people while wearing a black turban.' And from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was shrouded in three white, soft cotton garments, with no shirt or turban in them.' Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And from her (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out one morning wearing a black woolen cloak.' Narrated by Muslim. And from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: 'I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) one night on a journey, and he said to me: I said: Yes. So he dismounted from his mount and walked until he was hidden in the darkness of the night. Then he came back, and I poured water over him from the water skin. He washed his face while wearing a woolen robe. He could not get his arms out of it until he pulled them out from the bottom of the robe. He washed his arms and wiped his head. Then I reached out to remove his leather socks, but he said: Sahih al-Bukhari 206 and he wiped over them. Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. In another narration: 'He was wearing a tight-sleeved Syrian robe.' And in another narration, it is stated that this incident occurred during the Expedition to Tabuk."

These hadiths mentioned by al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) in the Book of Clothing point to what was previously stated, which is that it is permissible for a person to wear whatever he wishes of white, black, green, yellow, or red clothes, except that the prohibition of wearing pure red has been established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Therefore, one should not wear pure red unless it is mixed with another color. In this hadith, the hadith of 'Amr ibn Harith, he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) wearing a black turban. It was previously mentioned that he entered Mecca wearing a black turban. This indicates the permissibility of wearing a black turban. Likewise, the shemagh whose pattern is black, green, or red, all of this is permissible.
