The chapter on the recommendation of greeting with peace when entering one's home: Allah the Exalted said: “When you enter houses, greet yourselves with a greeting from Allah, blessed and pure.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned that it is a recommended practice (sunnah) for a person to give the greeting of peace when he enters his home, and he cited as evidence the saying of Allah the Exalted:
But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah, blessed and good فإذا دخلتم بيوتًا فسلموا على أنفسكم تحية من عند الله مباركة طيبة
[An-Nur 24:61]
blessed and pure. When you enter your home, give the greeting of peace, but the first thing you should do when you enter is to use the miswak before anything else, then greet your family. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) advised Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), who was his servant, saying:
Dear son, when you enter your house, say As- Salamu 'Alaikum to your family, for it will be a blessing both to you and to your family. يا بني إذا دخلت على أهلك فسلم تكن بركة عليك وعلى أهلك
Riyad as-Salihin 861
For this reason, Allah the Exalted said:
Blessed and pure مباركة طيبة
So when you enter the home, greet whoever is in it, whether they are your family, your colleagues, or the like. When you enter, give the greeting of peace; this is a recommended practice (sunnah). And success is from Allah.
