If a man enters a house where no one is present, is it permissible for him to greet or not?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. I mean, if a man enters his house and no one is in it, does he say, "Peace be upon us and upon Allah's righteous servants"? And is there valid evidence for this?

The Shaykh : I do not know of this. Allah the Exalted says:
But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace إذا دخلتم بيوتا فسلموا على أهلها
[An-Nur 24:61]
So if you enter a house, greet your family. But if there is no one in it, I do not know of anything regarding that.
