Benefits of the Hadith: (I had permitted you to enjoy [sexual relations with] women, but Allah has forbidden that until the Day of Resurrection...)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes, this indicates what the previous hadiths indicated, and it indicates that the permissibility has been abrogated, and that it was abrogated by the command of Allah, because Allah forbade it, and that it cannot be made permissible again — do you see these are benefits we mention — it is not possible for the enjoyment or the marriage of temporary pleasure to be made permissible again. The reason is His saying:
until the Day of Resurrection إلى يوم القيامة
.
It is derived from this hadith: that if a person contracts something with a defective contract, then it is obligatory to abandon it, because of His saying:
however had any temporary wives, he should let them go فمن كان عنده منهن شيء فليخل سبيلها
Sunan Ibn Majah 1962Sahih (Darussalam)
And on this basis, if two men trade in a sale that is not valid due to the absence of one of its conditions or the presence of one of its preventers, then it is obligatory to annul this sale, it is obligatory to annul this sale and abandon it. In fact, we do not say it is obligatory to annul it; we say: it is obligatory to abandon it, and we do not say: annulment. Why? Because annulment is a branch of its validity, and here the contract is not valid.
