about the ruling on the meat of the mule?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Are mules lawful or forbidden?
The student: It is forbidden.

The Shaykh : So what are mules? Mules are the offspring of the horse from the donkey, meaning that the donkey mounts the female horse, and she gives birth. This offspring is created from the semen of the donkey and the eggs of the horse, and from the eggs of the horse, the lawful has mixed with the forbidden in a way that there is no distinction between them. Therefore, it is not possible to leave the forbidden except by leaving the lawful. In that case, it is forbidden. In that case, it is forbidden. So mules are forbidden because they are produced from the lawful and the forbidden. Donkeys are forbidden because their species is forbidden. Horses are lawful, even though Allah mentioned them in a single verse:
And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. والخيل والبغال والحمير لتركبوها وزينة ويخلق ما لا تعلمون
[An-Nahl 16:8]
He progresses to what is between the good and the bad, to the All-Knowing. Horses are good. Mules are in between, but they are forbidden because it is not possible to leave the forbidden except by it. And the third is donkeys, to ride them and as adornment. He only said:
to ride them and as adornment لتركبوها وزينة
to indicate the outcome, because it is rare for anyone among people to slaughter or butcher a horse. Yes, that is right.
The student: If the one who facilitates the marriage intends a good intention such that when he concludes the contract, he does not go back on it.

The Shaykh : Yes, this will come, if Allah wills, it will come to us.
