It is obligatory to affirm this for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in the manner befitting Him, without likening Him to His creation in this, as He, Exalted and Majestic is He, said: لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. [Ash-Shuraa 42:11] [Al-Shura: 11]. As for the Dajjal, he claims other things and does other things to deceive people. For this reason, he is called the Dajjal because of the abundance of his lies and the strangeness of what he brings, such as his command for the sky to rain and the earth to sprout, and his killing of some people and then their rising alive. Then his affair will be exposed. He first claims to be a prophet, then he claims to be the Lord of the worlds, and this is the greatest deception and lie.
