A: There is no blame on you for crying if it is only with tears in the eyes and not with a voice; for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said when his son Ibrahim died:Sahih al-Bukhari 1303 And there are many hadiths in this meaning. There is also no blame on you for informing your relatives and friends of your illness, along with praising Allah, thanking Him, extolling Him, asking Him for health, and resorting to permissible means.
