Treatment of Obsessions and Doubt in Worship

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings. And after that:

Q: I am suffering from turmoil in my creed and a lack of concern regarding it, such as in tasbih and tahmid. It is as if I ask: Why am I saying tasbih? What is the meaning of Subhan Allah? What is the meaning of Alhamdulillah? And other matters of creed and worship? I often think about abandoning the prayer and zakah. When I pray, I feel that I have not prayed, and I feel that I am devoid of faith, so I stop saying tasbih. I know that in the past I used to feel humility and strive in acts of obedience and worship. One day, I saw a woman committing an evil act, so I advised her, and she said to me, "You took the religion from me." Since that day, I have felt turmoil, to the point that I do not care about my children, my mother, or my husband, nor do I care about any of the matters of my religion. I do not care about the evil acts committed by others. When I recite the Qur'an, I feel that I do not know what I have read, and I do not feel humility in recitation or other acts of worship. I do not even want my husband to do what Allah has made obligatory upon him. I want to be saved from what I am in, and to return to my religion, my love for good, and my striving in acts of obedience. Guide us, may Allah reward you with the best reward.
What is the action that will save me from what I am in? I feel that I have left Islam, and I am not at peace with that. Has this happened to anyone other than me, and then did Allah heal them from it, or not?

A: And upon you be peace, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, after that:
All that you mentioned of obsessions, aversion, and doubt is from Satan. It is obligatory for you, in that case, to say: I believe in Allah and His Messenger, I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. By doing so, these obsessions and doubts will be removed from you, and you will return to your previous state. This is how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered those who find these obsessions and doubts. We ask Allah to protect you from that, and to protect you from the accursed Satan.
And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
