Treatment for One Who Is Afflicted by Obsessions and Doubts

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode was sent to the program by one of the female listeners from Libya, who indicated her name with the letters (H. A). Our sister says, regarding a matter concerning her: What is the ruling on a person who is careful to preserve his religion, but is afflicted with some obsessions, though he does not utter them? How do you advise him? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
The advice for this man who is afflicted with some obsessions is to seek refuge in Allah from Satan when they occur, and to have a strong resolve to obey Allah and to remain steadfast in that obedience in prayer and other acts, in wudu' and in ghusl; so that he may guard against the obsessions of Satan and seek refuge in Allah from his whispers. If the obsessions pertain to Allah and the Hereafter, let him say: I believe in Allah and His messengers, I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. And let him proceed on his path and his good work, and not turn to these vile obsessions. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
