Advice for Students During Exam Days
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: These are exam days, so is there any advice for the students, O Shaykh?
A: We advise all students to be diligent, to pay attention, and to study their lessons day and night. They should cooperate with one another in solving problems, ask Allah for success and assistance, be cautious of sins, and strive to maintain prayer in congregation, including the Fajr prayer and others. They should also be dutiful to their parents, maintain family ties, fulfill the rights of their wives, and so on.
So we advise students to fear Allah, to be upright in His religion, to preserve what Allah has made obligatory, and to abandon what Allah has forbidden. This will help them succeed in their studies. Each one must fear Allah and preserve what Allah has made obligatory, such as prayer and other duties.
They should also strive to be dutiful to their parents and give them their rights. If a student has a wife, he should be just to her and give her her rights. He should also guard his time from idle talk that is of no benefit, by studying alone or with his brothers.
