The Testimony of the Limbs Against a Person on the Day of Resurrection

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A question from: A. W. from al-Kharj says: Allah the Exalted said:
(19) And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire while they are [driven] assembled in rows, (20) Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do.
[Fussilat 41:19-20]
verses [Surat al-Fussilat: 19 - 20].
The question is: It is understood from the verse that the limbs mentioned speak and report what they did. So, by analogy with the limbs mentioned, is it said that the private parts speak and report about zina or sodomy or the like? Because some preachers say that. Is this correct? And what is your advice to preachers regarding the interpretation of the Qur'an? May Allah reward you with good.

A: In the name of Allah, and all praise is due to Allah. These matters and their like are matters of divine legislation (taqwi fiyyah) in which the intellect has no role, and no one may affirm anything of them except what has come in the explicit text from the Book or the authentic Sunnah. In the texts, as far as we know, there is nothing indicating that the private parts testify to what they did. Rather, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, informed us in His great Book of the testimony of the hearing, the eyes, the skins, the tongues, the hands, and the feet. Therefore, it is not permissible to affirm anything else except by evidence; for Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said:
Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."
[Al-A'raf: 33]. Thus, He, Glorified and Exalted, placed speaking about Him without knowledge at the highest level of prohibition. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in Surat al-Baqarah:
(168) O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. (169) He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know.
[Al-Baqarah: 168 - 169]. So He, Glorified and Exalted, made it clear that speaking about Him without knowledge is what Satan commands, and that is only because of the great corruption and the dire consequences it entails. We ask Allah for well-being and safety.
As for my advice to the preachers, it is to fear Allah, and to beware of speaking about Him without knowledge regarding His Book or the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), or anything else. Rather, it is obligatory for them to seek out in their preaching and teaching what the great Book and the purified authentic Sunnah indicate, and to be careful in all of that; for Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said: :
Say, “This is my path; I call to Allah with insight,قُلْ هَذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللَّهِ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ
[Yusuf: 108]. May Allah guide everyone to what pleases Him.
