A: If they are seen by men, it is not permissible for them to do so, but among women there is nothing wrong with it. It is obligatory for a woman to cover her face from men with the niqab or the like; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Al-Ahzab: 53] and His saying: [An-Nur 24:31] the verse [An-Nur: 31]. Adornment includes the face, the head, the hands, the feet, and the chest, so all of this is part of the adornment.
