The Ruling on the Adhan and Iqamah Without Ritual Purity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
From 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Baz to the honorable brother: K. 'A. 'A. J. (may Allah keep him safe). Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings. And after:
I refer to your inquiry, registered with the General Secretariat of the Committee of Senior Scholars under number 5917, dated 25/8/1409 AH, in which you ask about a number of questions.
I inform you: that the adhan and iqamah are valid without ritual purity, and it is better: that the mu'adhdhin and the one who gives the iqamah be in a state of ritual purity, and likewise the prayer is valid, even if the mu'adhdhin or the one who gives the iqamah is not in a state of ritual purity. And if the mu'adhdhin or the one who gives the iqamah prayed without ritual purity, he must repeat it, like other people.
May Allah guide everyone to what brings Him pleasure; He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.
And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
