Finding impurity in one's clothes after prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A question from: A. S. M. from Riyadh, who says: A man prayed the prayer, and after a period of time he found impurity in his clothes. Does he have to repeat the prayer? It is known that the prayer was five months ago.
A: If he did not know of the impurity until after completing the prayer, his prayer is valid; because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed by Jibril while he was in prayer that there was dirt on his sandals, he took them off and did not repeat the beginning of the prayer.
Likewise, if he knew of it before the prayer and then forgot and prayed in it, and did not remember until after the prayer. This is based on the saying of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) : [al-Baqarah: 286] And it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan al-Bayhaqi 4:822 narrated by Muslim in his Sahih.

Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.
رَبَّنَا لا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَاThat Allah has accepted this supplication
أن الله قد استجاب هذا الدعاء
