Ruling on one who discovers impurity in his clothes after the prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student Abdullah Mahmud Tahir sent a question, saying: If I discover some impurity in one of my garments, do I have to repeat the prayers I performed in those clothes?
Answer: No, you are not required to repeat it. If a person finds impurity in his clothes, his trousers, or something similar after the prayer, he does not repeat it. Likewise, if he knew about it but forgot until he finished the prayer, he does not repeat it, according to the correct view. This is because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was reminded by Jibril during some of his prayers, saying: "There is dirt in your sandals." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) took them off and did not repeat the beginning of the prayer. This indicates that the prayer is not repeated if one prayed while unaware or forgetful and did not know until after finishing; he does not repeat it. This is the correct view. If he said the closing salam and then learned that there was impurity in his lower garment, his shirt, his trousers, or his cloak, and he did not know until after finishing, his prayer is valid. This is the correct view. This is unlike the state of ritual impurity (hadath). As for the state of ritual impurity, he must repeat it. If he prayed thinking he was in a state of ritual purity, and then when he finished he learned that he was not in a state of ritual purity and that he had passed wind, urinated, or something else, he must repeat the prayer according to the scholars. This is based on his (peace and blessings be upon him) statement:
Salat will not be accepted without purificationلا تقبل صلاة بغير طهور
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1Sahih (Darussalam)
No prayer is accepted except with ritual purity. As for impurity in the garment, it has a different ruling. Impurity in the garment, the cloak, the sandal, or something similar, if one does not know until after the prayer, his prayer is valid. This is the relied-upon view, this is the correct view. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
