The ruling on one who discovers impurity in his clothes after prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This female questioner, our sister (N. Z. H. M), says: Your Eminence, if a person prays two obligatory prayers, then discovers that his clothes are impure, and he was unaware of it, does he repeat the prayer, or what does he do?

Answer:
The correct view is that he does not repeat it, as long as he did not know until after completing the prayer, whether he was forgetful or ignorant. His prayer is valid. Among the evidence for this is that he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in his sandals, and there was filth in them. Jibril informed him that there was filth in them, so he took them off, but he did not repeat the first part of the prayer.
And among the evidence for this is His saying (Exalted and Majestic is He):
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.رَبَّنَا لا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
[al-Baqarah:286] Allah said:
He has done soقد فعلت
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Indeed, Allah said: I have done soإن الله قال: قد فعلت
