Is it permissible to be called the Judge of Judges?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Being called the Judge of Judges?

Answer:
This is not recommended; because "Judge of Judges" means the ruler of rulers, and the Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him) titled a chapter "Being called the Judge of Judges and the like," intending by this to clarify that it is not recommended; because the ruler of rulers is close in meaning to the King of Kings; so it is not recommended. However, "Judge of the Judges of such-and-such a country" is easier, such as saying: Judge of the Judges of Damascus, Judge of the Judges of Egypt, Judge of the Judges of Riyadh; this is easier because it is specific. And better than this is "their head" or "their chief"; that is better than this!
