What is the ruling on one who performed 'Umrah in Shawwal, returned to his hometown, and then performed Hajj?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some people say: If you perform 'Umrah in the month of Shawwal, then return to your country, and then go for Hajj in the same year, you must offer a sacrificial animal for the 'Umrah. What is the validity of this statement, and what is meant by the sacrificial animal for 'Umrah?

Answer:
He owes nothing. If he performed 'Umrah, then returned to his family, and then performed Hajj as an individual obligation (ifrad), he owes nothing according to the scholars, as 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) and others issued a ruling to that effect; because he came with an individual Hajj.
