The Shaykh’s clarification of the reality of Muslims today, both rulers and ruled, and an explanation of the state of some of the revolutionaries.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : They are, without a doubt, the furthest people from that. Not only—here I am rambling—not only the rulers of the Muslims, but also the ruled by these rulers are, as that Turk said, "Hepsi barbar," meaning: they are all the same. That is to say, both rulers and ruled are far from applying the Book and the Sunnah.
We find some of the parties, and I do not say individuals, who call for establishing the Muslim state and who revolt against the Muslim rulers. If you enter their homes, you will find them empty of the correct Islamic jurisprudence.
So, start with yourself, then with those you are responsible for. You want to establish the Muslim state in the entire Islamic world, yet you have not established your state in this miniature world of your home, just as that caller said, whom his followers were supposed to take to heart his word and his saying, which is: "Establish the state of Islam in your hearts, and it will be established for you on your land."
