The ruling on using perfumes containing alcohol

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was sent from Kuwait by one of the female listeners. The sender, Umm Yusuf, has two cases regarding which she says: As for perfumes that contain alcohol, is it permissible to use them or not? The listener is from Kuwait, Your Eminence the Shaykh. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Perfumes that contain intoxicating alcohol are not permissible to use. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whatever a lot of it intoxicates, a little of it is unlawful.ما أسكر كثيره فقليله حرام
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1865Hasan (Darussalam)
So if the perfumes contain an intoxicating substance, meaning that in large quantities it is forbidden to use it and forbidden to drink it, such as cologne which people are making and using now, it has been established, according to the testimony of doctors, that it contains a large amount of alcohol, specifically the intoxicating spirit, so it is not permissible to use it. Rather, it is obligatory to leave it and to be cautious of it. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
