Ruling on moving to a distant mosque for Friday prayer when a closer one is available

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A listener who referred to his name by the letters (S. A. Sh.) says: I hope you will be kind enough to explain my case and clarify what is in it. He says: I and some other people go on Friday to perform the Friday prayer in a congregational mosque in a neighboring village, despite the fact that we have a congregational mosque in our area with a preacher. Is it obligatory for us to pray in that mosque, or is there no harm in a person praying in the mosque closest to him? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
There is no harm in moving from one congregational mosque to another, even if it is farther than the mosque near you. There is no blame in going to another mosque for a legitimate religious interest; because its preacher is more knowledgeable and more versed in jurisprudence, or because you are more affected by his sermon, or for other legitimate religious reasons.
The point is: there is no harm. It is not obligatory for you to pray in the mosque around you if leaving it does not result in any harm. You have the choice... you may pray in any congregational mosque, especially the one where you experience being affected, humility, benefit, and gain. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
