The Ruling on Prostration of Recitation and the Supplications Made in It

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What exactly must we do when we encounter a prostration in the Noble Qur'an?

Answer:
It is a recommended practice (sunnah) to prostrate when you pass a prostration in the Qur'an. You say Allahu Akbar and prostrate, saying: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High; Glory be to my Lord, the Most High," just as in the prostration of prayer. You say in it what is said in the prostration of prayer: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High; Glory be to my Lord, the Most High." You make supplication in it. And if you say: "O Allah, to You I prostrate, in You I believe, and to You I submit. My face prostrates to the One who created it and gave it form, and opened its hearing and sight by His power and might. Blessed is Allah, the best of creators," then this is also a recommended practice (sunnah), said in the prostration of prayer and in the prostration of recitation.
And likewise:
O God, record a reward for me for it, remit from me a load for it, make it a treasure with Thee for me, and accept it from me as Thou didst accept it from Thy servant Davidاللهم اكتب لي بها عندك أجرًا، وامح عني بها وزرًا، واجعلها لي عندك ذخرًا، وتقبلها مني كما تقبلتها من عبدك داود عليه السلام
Mishkat al-Masabih 1036
This is also permissible. It is reported in some hadiths that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made supplication with this. He said:
O God, record a reward for me for it, remit from me a load for it, make it a treasure with Thee for me, and accept it from me as Thou didst accept it from Thy servant Davidاللهم اكتب لي بها عندك أجرًا، وامح عني بها وزرًا، واجعلها لي عندك ذخرًا، وتقبلها مني كما تقبلتها من عبدك داود -عليه الصلاة والسلام-
Mishkat al-Masabih 1036
So this is permissible.
The point is: he says in his prostration of recitation what is said in the prostration of prayer. He says: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High; Glory be to my Lord, the Most High," "Glory be to You, O Allah, our Lord, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me," "The One who purifies Himself, the Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit," "O Allah, to You I prostrate, in You I believe, and to You I submit. My face prostrates to the One who created it and gave it form, and opened its hearing and sight by His power and might. Blessed is Allah, the best of creators." Then he raises his head saying Allahu Akbar. If he is in prayer, he raises his head saying Allahu Akbar. But outside of prayer, the first Allahu Akbar is sufficient; there is no second Allahu Akbar, and no closing salam outside of prayer. But in prayer, he says Allahu Akbar when prostrating and says Allahu Akbar when raising his head, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
