Ruling on one who recites one or two verses in each rak'ah of the tarawih prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: In some small villages, during the tarawih prayer in the month of Ramadan, the imam recites one verse, or at most two verses, in each rak'ah, and there are those who recite
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
in all the rak'ahs. Is the prayer valid in this situation?

Answer:
The prayer is valid, but it is better to recite from the beginning of the Qur'an whatever is easy. And if it is easy to complete the recitation of the Qur'an in Ramadan, that is better and more complete. As for sufficiency, it suffices if one recites one verse, or two verses, or recites parts of surahs; all of that is permissible
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[al-Taghabun:16]. And Allah the Exalted says:
So recite what is easy from itفَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ
[al-Muzzammil:20]. So there is no fixed limit for the recitation in the tarawih prayer; rather, one recites whatever is easy along with al-Fatihah. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good. Is it permissible for him to recite Surat al-Ikhlas in every rak'ah, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : If he has nothing else, there is no blame on him. But if he has other surahs, it is better to recite from the other surahs, and let
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
be recited specifically in the witr, in the last rak'ah. This is what is better.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
