Ruling on boycotting one who deals in riba despite being advised

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I have a brother in the family who deals in riba (usury or interest). I have advised him many times, and when I advise him, he says: "I will stop this matter soon," but he is still continuing. Should I cut off ties with him? Or what do you advise me to do? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
You must continue to advise him, perhaps Allah will guide him through your efforts. If he persists in his ugly deed, you may boycott him if you see benefit in that. If you see that the benefit lies in continuing the advice and not boycotting, then do that, because boycotting is a treatment and a medicine. If it is beneficial, do it. If it is not beneficial, continue in the advice and calling to good, and also seek help from your good brothers to advise him, perhaps Allah will guide him through your efforts.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
