The Ruling on the Du'a of the Mi'raj and the Explanation of the Prescribed Dhikr and Its Virtue
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner asks: Is it true that whoever recites the Du'a of the Mi'raj for forty Fridays will have his previous sins forgiven, and that whoever says: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, and Allahu Akbar, will have a good deed recorded for him?
Answer:
This Du'a of the Mi'raj has no basis for this claim. There is no du'a that is recited and memorized with this specific reward. All of this is invalid and has no foundation. As for tasbih, Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) has prescribed for us dhikr and tasbih, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised us to do so. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) says:[Al-Ahzab 33:41] and glorify Him in the morning and in the evening [Al-Ahzab: 41-42]. And He says (Exalted and Majestic is He): [Al-Munafiqun: 9]. And He says, Glorified is He: [Al-Ahzab: 35], until He says, Glorified is He: [Al-Ahzab: 35]. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 2137a And he also said (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan an-Nasa'i 924Hasan (Darussalam) And he also said (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 2695 This indicates a great virtue. And he also said (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:253.
I advise every Muslim man and woman to increase their remembrance of Allah, and I advise all my Muslim brothers and sisters, both male and female, to increase their remembrance of Allah through tasbih, tahmid, tahlil, and takbir, and by saying: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no power nor strength except with Allah), and by saying: "La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lah al-mulk wa lah al-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir" (There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; to Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs praise, and He is over all things capable). This phrase is the greatest of dhikr. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 35a or he said: Sahih Muslim 35b And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Riyad as-Salihin 1411 It is agreed upon that it is authentic. He also said (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 2693 meaning: it sets her free . This is a great virtue.
So one should increase in the remembrance of Allah, in tasbih, tahmid, tahlil, takbir, and seeking forgiveness. May Allah guide them all.
The presenter : O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.

As for tasbih, Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) has prescribed for us dhikr and tasbih, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised us to do so. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) says:
O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah
Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women
إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِand the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.
The dearest phrases to Allah are four: Subhan Allah (Hallowed be Allah), Al-Hamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illa-Allah (There is no deity but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greater).
أحب الكلام إلى الله أربع: سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله، والله أكبرSubhanAllah, wal-hamdulilah, wa la illaha ill-Allah, wa Allahu Akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa Billahil-aliy al-azim (Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is none worthy of worship except Allah, Allah is Most Great, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah the Exalted and Magnificent )
The uttering of (these words):" Exalted is Allah (He is free from imperfection), all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest," is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.
The individuals have preceded. It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Who are the individuals? He said: Those who remember Allah much, and those who remember Allah much (females)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Iman has over seventy branches
الإيمان بضع وسبعون شعبةor over sixty branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the, removal of what is injurious from the path: and modesty is a branch of faith.
He who utters ten times: 'La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahulmulku wa lahulhamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli sha'in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),' he will have a reward equal to that for freeing four slaves from the progeny of Prophet Isma'il.
من قال: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك، وله الحمد، وهو على كل شيء قدير عشر مرات؛ كان كمن أعتق أربعة أنفس من ولد إسماعيلWhoever says: La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir (There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable) one hundred times in a day, it is for him the equivalent of freeing ten slaves
And Allah will write for him one hundred good deeds, and erase from him one hundred bad deeds, and he will be protected from Shaytan on that day until evening, and no one will come with anything better than what he brought except a man who did more work than his
So one should increase in the remembrance of Allah, in tasbih, tahmid, tahlil, takbir, and seeking forgiveness. May Allah guide them all.
