Advice for one afflicted by the harm of the Shayatins in dreams

Question:
A long letter was sent by one of the female listeners, (R. R. M) from the Kingdom. She says, “My life is a wonder, Your Eminence the Shaykh. She says about herself: I am a girl who is nineteen years old. I pray and I fast, and praise be to Allah, and I fulfill all my religious and worldly duties in the best manner. But the problem is that when I sleep at any time, something resembling the Shayatins comes to me in my dream—seeking refuge in Allah—or what they call the *mard*, which covers my breath until it nearly kills me, and strikes me with shaking and trembling in my body, and terrifying sounds in my ears. It also takes me to desert places I have never seen in my entire life, between the sky and the earth, and I feel nothing but flying in the air, while my body in the bed does not move except that my soul leaves and goes to these places. And these sounds, when they occur in my ears, disturb me to the point that I scream loudly until both the near and the far hear me, and I cannot move. May Allah reward you with good, Your Eminence the Shaykh. She wants to say: Read some verses, supplications, and Prophetic hadiths. I tell you: I do that every night, but without any benefit. I want you to guide me—may Allah reward you with good—and I want you to make du'a for me, and show me something I can do to save me from this jinn that has deprived me of sleep. May Allah reward you with good, and keep your steps steady. He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.”
Answer:
I ask Allah for you healing and well-being from all evil, and I ask Allah to grant you success in what brings His pleasure, and to protect you from this ailment, and to write for you safety from all evil.
My advice to you is to read Ayat al-Kursi when you sleep. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is protected from error, and it is authentic from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: So read it with sincerity, devotion, and a firm resolve that you believe the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) in what he said. And read (Say: He is Allah, the One) and the two *Mu'awwidhat* three times when you sleep. And be glad of good. You must have sincerity and faith that the Messenger said that—(peace and blessings be upon him)—and also say: Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani) three times, Sunan Ibn Majah 3869 three times every night, and every morning. And be glad of good. This will go away—by the permission of Allah. Do this from the moment you hear this speech. Do it and be sincere, and ask Allah to make it beneficial for you, and supplicate to Him—(Exalted and Majestic is He)—that He may grant you well-being from this trial. And the Messenger is truthful—(peace and blessings be upon him)—he does not speak from desire. It is nothing but a revelation that is revealed.
And this enemy that sits upon you and harms you is a Shaytan. It will go away, and Allah will take revenge on it. So you must have sincerity, and you must be serious in this matter, and keep up Ayat al-Kursi when you sleep, and (Say: He is Allah, the One), and (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn), and (Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind) three times when you sleep,Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani) three times, Sunan Ibn Majah 3869 three times, and be glad of good.
And if you add to that:Sahih al-Bukhari 3371 This is also good. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn with it. He said: Sunan Abi Dawud 4737Sahih (Al-Albani) Say it also, Sahih al-Bukhari 3371 And say also: Mishkat al-Masabih 2477 This also came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
And say also:Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 22:491 All of this was done by the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
So if you do what is easy of this, then be glad of good. Some of this is sufficient, and Ayat al-Kursi is sufficient with sincerity. So be sincere, and ask Allah for well-being. Ask Allah in your prostration, and in the prayer before the taslim in the tashahhud, and at the end of the night, and at any time. Ask Allah with sincerity to grant you healing and well-being, and to protect you from the evil of this harm. And we ask Allah for you well-being and healing. And Allah—(Exalted and Majestic is He)—is the One who says in His great Book: [Ghafir: 60] And He is the Truthful, (Glorified and Exalted is He), and He is the One who says—(Exalted and Majestic is He)—: [Al-Baqarah: 186].
And I hope that you will see healing from the first night you use this great Prophetic and Qur'anic treatment. May Allah guide you and heal you from all evil, and all other Muslims. Yes.
The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good, Your Eminence the Shaykh! You repeated more than once the sincerity in reading Ayat al-Kursi, and the verses you mentioned to read and the supplications, as if you are saying: It is necessary for carrying the weapon to have a certain method?
The Shaykh: Yes, yes. The believer reads it while being sincere, knowing that the Messenger—(peace and blessings be upon him)—is truthful. He has a good opinion of his Lord. He does not say it while being heedless, doubting Allah, doubting the Messenger—(peace and blessings be upon him). No, if he comes to these dhikr and supplications, he comes to them with sincerity and devotion to Allah, and faith that his Lord is Able to do everything, and faith that Allah is truthful in what He says, and that the Messenger—(peace and blessings be upon him)—is truthful in what he says. And that if healing is delayed, it is for a profound wisdom. Healing and the answer may be delayed for a profound wisdom. So your Lord is Wise and Knowing. But with persistence and sincerity, the answer comes, and the healing comes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and benefit us with your knowledge.

أعوذ بكلمات الله التامة من كل شيطان وهامة ومن كل عين لامةI seek refuge in God's perfect words from His anger, His punishment, the evil of His servants, the evil suggestions of the devils and their presence
أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من غضبه وعقابه، وشر عباده، ومن همزات الشياطين، وأن يحضرونAnd say also:
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, which no righteous person or sinner can surpass, from the evil of what He has created, scattered, and brought forth, from the evil of what descends from the sky, from the evil of what ascends in it, from the evil of what He has scattered on the earth, from the evil of what emerges from it, from the evil of the trials of night and day, and from the evil of every one who knocks, except one who knocks with good, O Merciful One!
So if you do what is easy of this, then be glad of good. And I hope that you will see healing from the first night you use this great Prophetic and Qur'anic treatment.
