Question:
I have two daughters, and a foul odor emanates from their room. They tried to change the room, but the same thing happened. My daughter sees people who place them on her face, and she sees them constantly. What is the interpretation of this? And what is the solution? Please guide us.

Answer:
This may be from the wicked jinn, the disbelieving jinn, and their foolishness. So she should use this supplication:
I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He createdأعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق
Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani)
. When she enters the room, she says:
I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He createdأعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق
Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani)
three times, and she is given good news of well-being. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
if anyone says when he alights somewhere, "I seek refuge in God’s perfect words from the evil of what He has created," no evil will befall himمن نزل منزلا فقال: أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق لم يضره شيء
Mishkat al-Masabih 2422
. And it came in some narrations:
Whoever says it three timesمن قالها ثلاثا
.
So it is obligatory for the believer to fear Allah, to watch over his obedience to Allah, and to beware of the deception of the Shayatins and the foolishness of the jinn. If such a thing comes to him, he seeks refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created, and he says:
Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'a ismihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alimبسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم
Sunan Ibn Majah 3869
, three times.
It came in the hadith that whoever says it, nothing will harm him, if he says it in the morning or in the evening. And he should increase in reciting the Qur'an, for the Qur'an is among the causes for driving away the Shayatins and the foolish jinn, and it will not harm her.
She should be truthful, for whenever she is truthful, she will be safe from this. She says: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, three times in the morning and in the evening. And she has good news of good. She should increase in the remembrance of Allah and reciting the Qur'an, or whatever is easy for her, even if it is just al-Fatihah, according to what is easy for her. Even al-Fatihah, al-Fatihah is the Mother of the Qur'an, and it is sufficient.
