The ruling on one who performs Hajj at the expense of another

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
After this, a message reached the program from one of the female listeners. The listener (H. A. S), our sister, says: My husband wants to take my father on Hajj. Is that permissible for him? Because my father is in a comfortable financial situation, as she says. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
There is no harm in that if the wealthy person accompanies another to perform Hajj at the expense of the other; there is nothing wrong with it. However, if he performs Hajj from his own provision and wealth, that is more complete and better, unless he sees that performing Hajj with another at the expense of the other has religious benefits, such as gaining understanding of the religion and learning. In that case, there is a great benefit, even if it is at the expense of the other. There is nothing wrong with it, so that he may benefit from the knowledge.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
