The Ruling on Hurrying in Prayer to Preserve One's Ablution

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She says: Sometimes I hurry in performing the prayer to preserve my ablution. What is your guidance?

Answer:
It is obligatory to be calm and composed in the prayer, to be humble, and not to be hasty; until every limb returns to its place, every vertebra to its place. Do not hurry. First, straighten yourself up until you recite al-Fatihah and whatever is easy for you with it while standing. Then bow, place your hands on your knees, align your back with your head, be humble, and do not hurry. Say:
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High
It is obligatory to say it once, but reciting it three times, or more, is better with calmness. Then raise your head and say upon rising:
Allah hears whoever praises himسمع الله لمن حمده
Muwatta Malik 3:17
Then say:
Our Lord, to You is praise—or O Allah, our Lord, to You is praise—praise that is abundant, good, and blessed, filling the heavens, filling the earth, filling what is between them, and filling whatever You will of anything after that.
This is the best with calmness. If you limit yourself to "Our Lord, to You is praise," or "O Allah, our Lord, to You is praise," that suffices, but with calmness and no haste. It is necessary to be composed while standing until every vertebra returns to its place.
But the sunnah is to say the takbir:
in the whole of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and in whatever Thou createst afterwardsحمدًا كثيرًا طيبًا مباركًا فيه، ملء السماوات، وملء الأرض، وملء ما بينهما، وملء ما شئت من شيء بعده
Mishkat al-Masabih 813
Then you say the takbir for prostration: Allahu Akbar, prostrating. You prostrate on the seven limbs: on the forehead and nose, the two palms, the two knees, and the toes of the two feet, the soles of the feet...... the soles of the toes. Be humble in your prostration and be calm until every vertebra returns to its place with humility, calmness, and no haste. Say:
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High

The best is to say it three times. If you increase to five or seven, that is better. It is obligatory to say it once with composure, calmness, and no haste.
It is prescribed for you to make supplication in prostration. You supplicate in prostration:
O Allah, forgive meاللهم اغفر لي
O Lord, forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last, open and secret.
Sahih Muslim 483
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate with this. The Prophet used to supplicate with this supplication—O Allah, send blessings upon him and peace—saying in his prostration:
O Lord, forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last, open and secret.
Sahih Muslim 483
.
And if you supplicate with other good supplications, that is appropriate, such as:
Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me)اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو؛ فاعف عني
Sunan Ibn Majah 3850Sahih (Darussalam)
O Allah, forgive me and my parents—if your parents are Muslims—O Allah! Admit me into Paradise. O Allah, save me from the Fire. O Allah, forgive me and my parents; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Glorify your Lord in Ruku' (bowing posture) and exert yourself in supplication in prostration. Thus your supplications are liable to be accepted.
Riyad as-Salihin 1427
"Faqmin" means: it is likely that it will be answered for you. And he also said—peace and blessings be upon him:
The nearest a servant come to his Lord is when he is prostrating himself, so make supplication often.
Sunan Abi Dawud 875Sahih (Al-Albani)
.
So the conclusion is: that you must be calm and not hasty. You must be calm in your prayer, be humble, and not hurry. If you rattle through it without calmness, it is invalid. It is necessary to have calmness until every limb returns to its place, every vertebra to its place. Yes.
