Question:
One of the listeners, Sayyid Mahmoud Ahmad Sulayman from Egypt, sent a message containing this question. He says: I work as a driver in the Kingdom, and I left Dammam before Hajj. At the miqat, I entered the state of ihram, but before I entered Jeddah, I was forced, or compelled, to break my ihram, and then I put it on again and performed 'Umrah. What is the ruling on what I did?
Answer:
You must feed six poor people, or fast for three days, or slaughter a sheep for wearing sewn clothing, and for covering the head, the same applies: feeding six poor people, where each poor person receives half a sa' of dates, or rice, from the staple food of the country, or fasting for three days, either consecutively or separately, or slaughtering a sheep in Makkah for the poor, or one-seventh of a camel, or one-seventh of a cow, for wearing sewn clothing, for example. And you must do the same for covering the head if you covered your head, because you did so intentionally, and you knew that it was not permissible for you, but due to the reasons you mentioned. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
