The Reckoning of a Person on the Day of Resurrection When His Good Deeds Outweigh His Bad Deeds

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a message was sent by one of the sisters from there, saying: Your sister in Allah, Umm Mu'min, our sister, asked a collection of questions, one of which was: Is a person held accountable for his bad deeds if his good deeds are more?

Answer:
Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) informed us in His great Book, saying: :
(6) Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], (7) He will be in a pleasant life. (8) But as for one whose scales are light, (9) His refuge will be an abyss.
[al-Qari'ah:6-9]. So his good deeds and his bad deeds are weighed. Every person is balanced between his good deeds and his bad deeds. When the good deeds outweigh, he succeeds and is saved. Allah may forgive the servant and admit him to Paradise without holding him accountable for his bad deeds, either because of a repentance he performed, or because of great good deeds he brought before his death, or because of other reasons that necessitated the mercy of Allah and His favor in admitting him to Paradise and not holding him accountable for the bad deeds.
But the original rule is the weighing, as Allah informed us in His great Book. The good deeds are weighed and the bad deeds are weighed. As for whoever's good deeds outweigh, he is saved; and as for whoever's bad deeds outweigh, he is destroyed, except whom Allah has mercy upon. But Allah may forgive the servant and overlook his bad deeds out of His favor and kindness, either because of repentance, for He has promised the repentant forgiveness, as He the Exalted said:
But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى
[Ta-Ha:82], or because of great good deeds that became the cause for the forgiveness of his sins, or because of other reasons that the wisdom of Allah necessitated to be a cause for forgiveness. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
