Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the listening brothers from Sudan. He says in his message: I am the student (M. A. Z). He says: I was a frivolous young man, and I played around a lot, and my boldness reached the point that I intentionally broke my fast for some days in the Ramadan that has passed. And Allah has accepted my repentance, and praise be to Allah, but I live in worries and anxiety all the time, I do not know what to do. And the idea came to me to write to you so that I might receive guidance from you. Guide us, may Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
It is obligatory for you to repent to Allah. Sincere repentance involves regret for what has passed, abandoning all sins, and a sincere resolve not to return to them. Whoever repents with this repentance, Allah will accept his repentance and he will succeed. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Tahrim: 8] And He said: : [Al-Nur: 31] And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 121 And he also said, (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan Ibn Majah 4250Da’if (Darussalam).
So if you are sincere, my brother, in your repentance and regret for what has passed from you, and in your resolve not to return to it, then you are upon great good, so be glad of the great good. Beware of waswas (whispers) and beware of having a bad opinion of Allah. Allah says, (Exalted and Majestic is He): [Al-Hujurat: 12] And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1988Sahih (Darussalam) And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says, Allah says: : Sahih Muslim 2675d So you must have a good opinion of Allah, for He has promised those who repent success, forgiveness, and Paradise. So have a good opinion of your Lord when you repent to Him and are sincere in your repentance. And you must make up the days you broke your fast; you have to make them up. And praise be to Allah, yes.

It is obligatory for you to repent to Allah. Sincere repentance involves regret for what has passed, abandoning all sins, and a sincere resolve not to return to them. Whoever repents with this repentance, Allah will accept his repentance and he will succeed. Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance.
And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
Verily migration wipes out all the previous (misdeeds)
The one who repents from sin is like one who did not sin.
So if you are sincere, my brother, in your repentance and regret for what has passed from you, and in your resolve not to return to it, then you are upon great good, so be glad of the great good. Beware of waswas (whispers) and beware of having a bad opinion of Allah. Allah says, (Exalted and Majestic is He):
O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin.
Beware of Zann (suspicion), for indeed Zann is the falsest of speech.
I live in the thought of My servant as he thinks of Me and with him as he calls Me.
