Is it required for the preacher to wear a turban? And to be married?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode is one that reached the program from the Arab Republic of Egypt, Fayoum Governorate. The sender of the message is a listener who indicated his name by the letters (T. Sh.). Our brother is asking a collection of questions, the first of which is this question. He says: Is it obligatory for the preacher, when he ascends the pulpit, to put something on his head, for example a turban? And is it permissible for an unmarried young man to be a preacher? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows.
The Sunnah is that when a believer intends to pray, he should take his adornment, and on the day of Jumu'ah specifically, it is recommended to take one's adornment. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:
O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjidيَا بَنِي آدَمَ خُذُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ
[Al-A'raf: 31]. So the Sunnah for the preacher and others is to take their adornment on the day of Jumu'ah and on the day of Eid. If the head covering is known in his country and is part of the adornment, then it is prescribed for him. And if the people of his country do not customarily do that, then there is no blame on him.
However, the head covering with the customary turban, and the customary adornment, is better, but it is not a condition; because the head is not an 'awrah. And a young man may be a preacher even if he is not married, if he is qualified for it, if he has knowledge, and he has insight, and he is known for goodness; then there is no blame on him in being a preacher. It is not a condition of the imamate, or of preaching, that the preacher, or the imam, has a wife. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah bless you, and may Allah reward you with the best reward.
