The ruling on a woman’s husband performing Hajj on behalf of her deceased son

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
From the province of Nineveh in Iraq, Al-Awwal district. The listener, Najma Abdullah Muhammad, sent a message containing a number of questions, among which is one in which she says: I have a deceased son, and I want to perform Hajj on his behalf. I have provided his salary as a fee for the expenses of Hajj. Knowing that my husband performed Hajj for himself last year, is it permissible for my husband, who has already performed Hajj for himself, to perform Hajj for my son?

Answer: There is no harm; it is permissible for him to perform Hajj on his behalf, whether with a fee or without one. If he performs it on his behalf as a voluntary act, may Allah reward him with good. And if you give him some money as assistance, there is no harm. Or if you perform it on his behalf, provided that you have already performed Hajj for yourself, all of this is permissible, and praise be to Allah.
As for the one who has not performed Hajj for himself, he does not perform Hajj for another until he has performed it for himself. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
