The ruling on making names slaves of other than Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The listener is Fath al-Rahman Fadl al-Sayyid Ali Sudani. He asks and says: Is it permissible for a father to name his son with this name: Hawwa al-Nabi, Abd al-Nabi, Abd al-Rasul, Rasul, Hakim?
The Shaykh: The first one!
The presenter: The first one is Hawwa al-Nabi.
The Shaykh: Hawwa?!
The presenter: Yes, he asks whether it is permissible to name with this name?
The Shaykh: Repeat Hawwa al-Nabi, what comes after it?
The presenter: Abd al-Nabi, Abd al-Rasul, Rasul, Hakim.
The Shaykh: It is not permissible to make a name a slave of other than Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He). It is not permissible to name someone Abd al-Nabi, nor Abd Ali, nor Abd al-Husayn, nor Abd Jibril, nor Abd al-Rasul, nor Abd al-Qamar, nor Abd al-Shams. Slavery is for Allah alone (Glorified and Exalted is He). One names [a child] Abd Allah. Ibn Hazm said: The scholars agreed... The scholars agreed on the prohibition of making a name a slave of other than Allah. Abu Muhammad Ibn Hazm reported the consensus of the scholars that it is not permissible to make a name a slave of other than Allah. Therefore, it is not permissible to say: Abd al-Husayn, nor Abd Ali, nor Abd al-Hasan, nor Abd al-Shams, nor Abd al-Qamar, nor Abd al-Nabi, nor Abd al-Rasul. As for Hawwa al-Nabi, this is a word for which I do not know a meaning. I do not know the meaning of Hawwa al-Nabi. So one should not name with this disputed, ambiguous name. One should name with clear names: Abd Allah, Abd al-Rahman, Abd al-Aziz, Abd al-Malik, Abd al-Jabbar, Abd al-Qadus, and the like, attributing [the name] to Allah , from the names of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He), or name him with known names: Muhammad, Salih, Sa'd, Sa'id, Ahmad, and the like of known names. As for making a name a slave of other than Allah, it is not permissible. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. What about one named Jah al-Nabi?
The Shaykh: This is also not making a name a slave, but this name is not good. He names him Jah al-Nabi. He should name him Abd Allah. He should choose a good name. Jah al-Nabi is not among the names that are used, and it should not be a name for anyone. Rather, the believer should choose a name more appropriate than this status, such as saying: Abd Allah, Abd al-Rahman, Abd al-Karim. He says: Jah al-Nabi. When calling out, he says: O Jah al-Nabi, come. Or he curses Jah al-Nabi. This is severe, dangerous speech. It is not permissible to do this. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
