The Ranks of Maintaining Family Ties

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is maintaining family ties limited to the father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, paternal uncle, and paternal aunt?
Answer: Maintaining family ties is general for all your relatives, whether from the father's side or the mother's side, including the children of uncles and the children of maternal uncles. However, the closer the relative, the more deserving and greater the obligation of maintaining the tie. Thus, the fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, children, and the children of sons are the closest people. Then come the brothers and their children, then the paternal uncles and maternal uncles, and so on.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
