Q 8: My brother used to accuse me of hypocrisy, he constantly hurt me and mocked me, and he did not respect me at all. He broke one of my teeth a while ago, so I made a supplication against him. What is the ruling? Is this permissible? Please inform us.
A 8: We advise you to be patient and to overlook your brother, and to supplicate to Allah for his guidance and success instead of supplicating against him, in fulfillment of the right of maintaining family ties.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
