Ruling on working for a person who does not pray

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
After this, a message was sent by a listener who indicated his name with the letters: (M. Z. Sh). He says: I work on the farm of one of the wealthy men who pays zakah and spends in the cause of Allah, and gives to the needy, and his character is good with people, but he does not pray out of laziness and negligence regarding prayer. I reside on his farm as a guard, and he resides away from the farm in a place twenty kilometers away, and he does not come to the farm except two days a week, and each time from these times is about an hour, or whenever he comes to the farm in the week it is about three or four hours. So, is there a sin on me for working on his farm? Knowing that I am careful with my prayers, and committed, and praise be to Allah. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
The one who does not pray is a disbeliever—we ask Allah for safety—even if he is good in character, even if he gives charity, even if he does many things of good; because abandoning prayer is major shirk (associating partners with Allah)—we seek refuge in Allah. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said in His great Book:
But if they had associated others with Allah, then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing.وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
[Al-An'am: 88], and He the Exalted said:
And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthlessوَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ
[Al-Ma'idah: 5]. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever leaves the `Asr prayer will have all his (good) deeds annulled.من ترك صلاة العصر؛ حبط عمله
Sahih al-Bukhari 594
So when a person abandons prayer, his deeds are nullified, and he is a disbeliever.
So it is obligatory for this man to repent to Allah, and to fear abandoning prayer, and to be upright in obedience to Allah and His Messenger, and to thank Allah for His blessing. As for you, staying with him is dangerous; it is feared for you from his evil, and that you will follow him in falsehood.
So my advice to you is to move from him to someone else, and to seek another job; lest his calamity and his ill-omen engulf you. We ask Allah for safety.
The point is: that being near this man and serving him is not permissible. We ask Allah for safety.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
