Ruling on leaving the congregational prayer due to work

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the female listeners in Riyadh. She says: Your sister in Allah (K. A. 'A.) has a large number of questions. In her first question, she says: Your Eminence, is it permissible for a person whose work prevents him from praying with the congregation to pray alone if there is no one with him to pray at work? Or is it obligatory for him to leave his job?

Answer:
This requires a detailed explanation: If his work prevents him from the congregation because it is a dangerous job where danger would occur if he left, such as a guard, then he has an excuse and prays in his place of guard.
As for if he is able to go and return because there is no danger in doing so, then he goes and returns to his work like other employees. When the adhan for the midday prayer is called, they go out to pray and then return to their work. There is nothing wrong with this. It is not permissible for him to pray alone; rather, it is obligatory for him to pray with the Muslims in their mosques and then return to his work.
As for the one whose work requires him to stay in the place and not leave it, such as a guard, for example, or similar to those whose jobs require them to remain in the place designated for them, because leaving it would result in a deficiency in the guard or similar, these people pray in their place, and this work entrusted to them serves as an excuse for them. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
