The ruling on one who doubts about reciting al-Fatihah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
During my prayer, I forgot whether I had recited al-Fatihah. Should I perform the prostration for forgetfulness? What does a person recite during the prostration for forgetfulness? And if it is most likely that I did recite it, should I still perform the prostration for forgetfulness?

Answer:
If a praying person, whether praying alone or leading the prayer, doubts whether he recited al-Fatihah, he must recite it again before bowing, and he does not have to perform the prostration for forgetfulness. However, if the doubt occurs after he has finished the prayer, he should not pay attention to it, and his prayer is valid.
As for the prostration for forgetfulness, what is prescribed in it is the same as what is prescribed in the prostration of prayer; namely, supplication, saying "Subhana Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High), and the like.
