Question:
Your Eminence! This message reached us from the Anbar Governorate in the Iraqi Republic, from the student: Subar Hamadi. In his message, after praising the scholars participating in this program, he says: A woman breastfed me when I was a child, according to the testimony of that woman and my mother, for an unknown number of breastfeeding sessions. It is unclear whether it was one, three, or fewer or more. The breastfeeding took place on a single day only, from the afternoon until bedtime at night. Do I have the right to marry one of her daughters, especially the last daughter she gave birth to? We ask for your guidance, may Allah guide you.
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows: It is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sunan Ibn Majah 1937Sahih (Darussalam) And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Ibn Majah 1940Sahih (Darussalam) And he also said, in what is established from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: Sahih Muslim 1452a And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: and so on. These hadiths and what has come in their meaning indicate to us that it is necessary to have five breastfeeding sessions or more. If the nursing woman is in doubt about the breastfeeding that occurred from her, whether it was one or more than that, then prohibition by breastfeeding is not established by it, and the prohibition is not spread by it. There is no harm in marrying one of her daughters; because it has not been established that she is his mother, until it is established that she breastfed him five times or more. By this, the questioner knows that there is no harm on him in marrying the daughter of the woman who breastfed him this unknown breastfeeding. However, if he leaves it off, it is from the perspective of leaving off what is doubtful, and from the perspective of "leave what makes you doubt," then there is no harm. Good. Otherwise, there is no harm on him in that. It is only from the perspective of leaving off doubts and leaving off what causes doubt. If he leaves it off, it is good, acting in accordance with the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan an-Nasa'i 5711Sahih (Darussalam) For it may be that she breastfed him several times that reached five, but he did not preserve that. If he leaves it off as a precaution and to stay away from doubt, he is to be thanked and rewarded. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Bulugh al-Maram 16:32 Yes.

As for what follows: It is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.
Breastfeeding once or twice
لا تحرم الرضعة ولا الرضعتانit had been revealed in the Holy Qur'an that ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated (and substituted) by five sucklings and Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) died and it was before that time (found) in the Holy Qur'an (and recited by the Muslims).
Breastfeeding is only from hunger; there is no breastfeeding except within the two years.
Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.
So he, who saves himself from these doubtful things, saves his religion and his honor
