The Means That Help One to Be Rid of Sins and Disobedience
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was sent from Sana'a by a listener. The sender (M. S. M) says: Praise be to Allah. I performed the obligatory Hajj last year, and we ask Allah for acceptance. However, I have not been able to rid myself of some sins despite my great effort. How do you guide me in this matter? And what are the supplications that can help me?
Answer:
We advise you to fear Allah at all times and in all places. You must fear Allah and be conscious of Him, so that you may guard against His disobedience; for He, the Exalted, sees you and observes you. And He (Exalted and Majestic is He) has commanded you to obey Him and forbidden you to disobey Him.
Therefore, it is obligatory for you to remember His greatness, that He observes you, and that He sees you wherever you are. So, leave what Allah has forbidden for you, strive in what Allah has made obligatory for you, and ask your Lord for success. Say: “O Allah, help me. O Allah, grant me success. O Allah, make my affairs easy. O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well. O Allah, rectify my heart and my deeds.” Ask your Lord, humbling yourself to Him, that He will guide you to His straight path, that He will help you to remember Him and thank Him, and that He will grant you success so that you fulfill what is obligatory upon you and leave what Allah has forbidden for you. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
