Question:
In his second question, he says, “O His Eminence the Shaykh: If some of my brothers—whether male or female—neglect some of the prayers, does this affect my deceased father, given that some of the women are married?”
Answer:
If he neglected them during his lifetime, not ordering his sons and daughters, and not teaching them, then he is in danger of that. You should make du'a for him, asking Allah to forgive him and pardon him.
As for if he did not neglect them, but rather exerted himself in raising them and teaching them, and ordered them to do good, but they neglected it after his death, then the sin is upon them, and nothing of that is upon him.
If they neglected the prayer, or anything else, after his death, then the sin is upon them. But during his lifetime, if he was lax in their rights, then he is in danger. You should make du'a for him for forgiveness, mercy, and pardon. If he was lax with them, and did not teach them, and did not discipline them, then he has left what was obligatory upon him, so he is accountable for this, and he is in danger of this matter. But you should make du'a for him for forgiveness, mercy, and pardon.
And you, too, should advise one another of good among yourselves, and give one another sincere advice, and exert yourselves in fulfilling the rights of Allah, and maintain the prayer in congregation. You should also exert yourself with your sisters in advising them and guiding them to good, and ordering them to pray and maintain it at its times, and other aspects of good, such as paying zakah, fasting Ramadan and maintaining it, maintaining family ties, honoring the neighbor, guarding the tongue from what is not appropriate. You should advise all your brothers, male and female, to fear Allah, to obey Allah and His Messenger, to do good and leave evil, to engage in much tasbih, tahlil, tahmid, takbir, dhikr, and recitation of the Qur'an, to honor their neighbors and their relatives, and to maintain their family ties. And you are upon good.
Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) says: : Indeed, man is in loss, except those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. [Al-'Asr:1-3] Among the best characteristics of faith is advising one another in truth and giving one another sincere advice. And He (Exalted and Majestic is He) says: [An-Nahl:125] And He (Glorified and Exalted is He) says: [Al-Ma'idah:2].
So you, O questioner, you must cooperate with your brothers, your relatives, and your neighbors in righteousness and piety, in obeying Allah and His Messenger, in praying in congregation, in being dutiful to parents, in maintaining family ties, and in guarding the tongue from what is not appropriate. All of this is part of giving one another sincere advice and advising one another of truth. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, O His Eminence the Shaykh.

By Time,

And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِSo you, O questioner, you must cooperate with your brothers, your relatives, and your neighbors in righteousness and piety, in obeying Allah and His Messenger, in praying in congregation, in being dutiful to parents, in maintaining family ties, and in guarding the tongue from what is not appropriate.
