The virtue of reciting Surat al-Tabarak

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Should I recite Surat al-Tabarak before sleeping every night, and will Allah save the one who does so from the punishment of the grave?

Answer:
Surat al-Tabarak has a great status, and if one recites it, there is a hadith in it that indicates its virtue and that it will testify for its owner on the Day of Resurrection. However, its recitation, and the recitation of the Qur'an, only benefits him if he acts upon it. If he recites it but does not act upon it, it will not benefit him. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
the Qur'an is proof, either for you or against youالقرآن حجة لك، أو عليك
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2437Sahih (Darussalam)
It is an argument for you if you act upon it, and an argument against you if you do not act upon it. So if he recites the Qur'an, or recites Surat al-Kahf, or Surat al-Tabarak, while neglecting the command of Allah and committing the sins of Allah, he is in great danger. The Qur'an will not be an argument for him, but rather it will be an argument against him regarding what he has neglected.
Therefore, it is obligatory for the believer to strive in obeying Allah and His Messenger, along with doing the causes, along with doing what Allah has prescribed of reciting the Qur'an, along with hastening to good deeds and voluntary acts. But he must strive in performing the obligatory duties and leaving off sin, so that he may be safe from the anger of Allah. Yes.
