Ruling on a woman shaking hands with a boy who is twelve years old

Question:
Is it permissible for a woman to greet a boy who has not reached the age of twelve, and to show her hair in front of him?

Answer:
Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) says: [Surat al-Nur: 59], which indicates that she should cover herself from them once they reach puberty. Puberty is reached at fifteen years of age or older, or by the growth of coarse hair around the private parts, or by wet dreams, which is the emission of semen due to desire in sleep or while awake. If my son is twelve or thirteen, he is approaching puberty and is an adolescent, so covering oneself from him is more cautious and preferable. Therefore, she should not expose her hair or any other part of her body. Covering oneself from adolescents is preferable because they are people of desire and temptation, so covering oneself from them is more preferable and more cautious.
