The Virtue of Performing the Lesser Pilgrimage Frequently

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner, Ibrahim Abdulaziz Abu Hamid from Riyadh, sent a set of questions. In the first question, he asks: What has been reported regarding the virtue of performing the lesser pilgrimage frequently? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is established in the two Sahihs from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
An Umra is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the next, and Hajj which is accepted will receive no other reward than Paradise.
Sahih Muslim 1349a
Thus, one lesser pilgrimage to the next is an expiation. The meaning—Allah knows best—is an expiation provided one avoids major sins; for He, the Exalted, said:
If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins
[Al-Nisa: 31]. Thus, the condition for the expiation of minor sins is the avoidance of major sins .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
The five [daily] prayers, Friday to Friday and Ramadan to Ramadan make atonement for what has happened since the previous one when major sins have been avoided.
Mishkat al-Masabih 564
Thus, one lesser pilgrimage to the next, and one major pilgrimage to the next, are all expiations if one avoids major sins, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever performs Hajj (pilgrimage) and does not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commits sin, nor disputes unjustly (during Hajj), then he returns from Hajj as pure and free from sins as on the day on which his mother gave birth to him.
Riyad as-Salihin 1274
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
for A1-Hajj Al-Mabrur there is no reward except Paradise.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 933Sahih (Darussalam)
.
The accepted pilgrimage is one that a person performs while not being determined to commit any of the major sins, not committing open sinfulness, and not committing lewdness. Likewise, the lesser pilgrimage, if he performs it and is not determined to commit any of the major sins, becomes an expiation for minor sins. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
