What is obligatory upon one who swore to keep a secret and then disclosed it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Another question is asked, and it says: It happened one day that I swore to one of the brothers by the Noble Qur'an that the secret between us would not be told to anyone, neither by me nor by him. But I was compelled to tell one of the relatives. What is obligatory upon me?

Answer:
You must repent to Allah the Exalted; because a secret is a trust, so what is obligatory upon you in this is that you repent to Allah, for you betrayed the secret, you betrayed the trust. So you must repent to Allah . And if this disclosure resulted in harm to your brother who entrusted you, then the recourse in this is to the court if you do not reach an agreement. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
