Why is the response to the imam's supplication on Friday not compared to any other prescribed response?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : My master, I just want to make two points, but I know, praise be to Allah, that we have been taught not to respond to the imam. My question now, in a hurry.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Some of our brothers ask us, saying, why is the response to the imam not compared to the response to any supplication? And why does it not take this ruling?

The Shaykh : I clarify the question; it is not clear, or I, or at least I did not understand it.

The questioner : Perhaps my style is clearer.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner : I mean, some of the opponents.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : When we see.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : They say, you say that among the permissible forms of seeking nearness to Allah through a means (tawassul) is for a man in whom righteousness is presumed to make a supplication, and for Muslims to respond to his supplication. So why do you not accept the response on Friday to the supplication of the Muslims? To the supplication of the man in whom righteousness is presumed? And why do we not raise our hands, when the Sunnah is to raise the hands in places other than this?

The Shaykh : The answer is clear; because the Messenger (peace be upon him) did not do that, and we are followers of the Messenger, and analogical reasoning (qiyas) in acts of worship is not permissible. And the answer, I mean, does not need any detail at all. Why do we not do it? Because the Messenger did not do it, because the Salaf did not do it.
"So this difference between us is sufficient for you *** And every vessel is filled with what is in it."

The questioner : It means we are not covered by anything. What does the imam want to do? He does not supplicate?!

The Shaykh: Hehehe.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : It is not enough that he is bearing the burden, as he (peace be upon him) said:
The imam is a guarantor الإمام ضامن
He is bearing the responsibility for the validity of the prayer.
Yes.
